6 Word Stories

Story in 6 words?  Not as easy as one would think.  Played around with it a bit–here’s a short, short story collection.


Sirens blare. He looks around guiltily.


Rose petals wilted, under the bed.

The End of a Career:

Baseball hits scrotum.  The rest, agony.

It’s Not a Problem:

Daddy drank.  Mommy covered.  Billy knew.


He used shampoo. Repeatedly.  Stopped itching.

Shit Job:

Vomit cleared, ambulance called, he smoked.

My Kin:

Thirty-seven cousins gather outside.  Booze-free Hoedown.

Lost Time:

We smoked weed.  Then turned thirty.


Unbelievably, they couldn’t find the condom.


I won’t be back next year.
